Deena - Aberdeen of Clan Buchanan

    Our summer-baby Deena became part of our family. She stole our hearts in a twinkle of an eye with her cheeky way  and curious being. As soon as she came to us we saw that here was an excellently socialized and with a bonding brought up little toller girl. There is no lacking of temperament in our Aberdeen of Clan Buchanan! Things disappear faster than a thought, objects are stolen from hand and she prances proudly around with them. Her attentive way and interest in all that is new fascinate us every day. The jumps that she makes in order to learn to fly, well, it's typical toller behaviour I guess. Big dogs are her specialty, she has no fear of size - except when a furious dog barks, who wouldn't be afraid then. In the puppy-playgroup she is sensitive to toybreeds, she did after all live with such during the first part of her time in Switzerland. We are looking forward to seeing how she will develop!

Some words to Prcd PRA in tollers: Tollers with this problem become blind as they are older, it doesn't even always occur during the life time. Breeding from an affected bitch means that the males have to be clear of the problem and none of the pups will ever become affected. Specialists see no sign of hastening the problem through breeding stress. This is the reason why I have decided to breed on Deena.
